The holiday season always reminds me of my beloved Ms. Trudy, a loyal blonde cocker spaniel who brought so much joy to my life. Her wagging tail and loving companionship filled my days with warmth. Though allergies prevent me from having another pet, her memory lingers, especially during the holidays.
This season let’s remember not only to care for each other but also for the animals in shelters longing for love. A donation of food, blankets, or financial support to your local shelter can bring hope to these deserving companions. Visit Atlanta Humane Society or search for a shelter near you to make a difference.
Starting March 3, 2025, God’s Daughters Divine Compassion Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, will offer free life-changing classes to women aged 18–35 in South Cobb County, Georgia. These programs focus on:
